To make these images (and the videos you see scattered through the homepage) we used a technique called databending, which is the process of manipulating a media file, resulting in glitched out images or videos. We were interested in collaging as a concept when we were first reimagining how this work would exist digitally. I thought databending would be a great method, because it's something I love to do and it's a fairly accessible way to make super cool art (if you have access to a computer you can do it, no skills, technical knowledge, or WiFi required!)
